A Pleasure to My Sorrow
If I had to walk a mile to be with pleasure:
she would be a; chatterbox all the way
Leaving me to, even none the wiser
for nothing, she did chatter about
was even heard being said.
Then to my delight, it did:
I walked a mile with sorrow; I sure did.
But she wasn't on words to say, anyway!
Oh, but I sure did learn many things today,
from what sorrow did not have to say.
Oh, the pleasure I did have!
That day with sorrow,
when we were walking to someone's home in play;
Did I learn with nothing to say?
