Titled: I See You
This is part of my journey coming home; past hobbies, I laid down and walked away from life itself. After a tragedy such as I had to undergo and the horror of it, well, it's being mended. Woke up a few years back, said I can not do this anymore, Lord.
I placed myself in self-conviction from it, and despite it being wrong, I am responsible ultimately. No denying it, all because I wanted to avoid an argument with my late wife, but I brought this event on my family for not listening to myself.
But, it's a hard thing to do, to forgive yourself when you set your family in harm's way; what the hell was I thinking, man? I wasn't, that's my point! Anyway, this was twenty-four years ago, and that's when I turned my back to life because I couldn't stand myself for what I caused. Life can be a tricky thing if you're not paying attention.
Well, I am on this road, it's been bumpy sometimes, but worth opening up my eyes once again. I suffered a lot of loss, but I believe Christ suffered too, but to pay for humanity's sin. Mine was just pure stupidity for not listening to my inner voice; trust it when it speaks, at all cost.
