She's Always On My Mind
I love you more today, babe,
more than I did yesterday, too!
And I'll love you even more tomorrow, honey?
I'll even love you mile for mile, it's true.
Were the words spoken to her so long of a time ago?
My love for her still grows the same,
even though she rests in a place of peace,
but still, she exists.
All I need to do to see you,
and tell you those words I used to say?
Is, shut my eyes, my love,
there you are,
standing right beside my side.
Such beauty you carry, and hold,
Wow, you're something to look at, too!
With the eager thoughts that are rushing through my mind thinking thoughts of making love to you;
Should I half almost feel ashamed?
I am embarrassed,
and my *cheeks* are red blushing for even writing this one down.
But this is the beauty that my wife did bring to me;
and I thank her for lighting up my world upside down?
Her bright face is what I gaze at,
afar,
but she started this love song.
