The Best of A Friend

Dedicated to a woman who has inspired me, she has no clue that one scarce person can hardly be found in life. Once in a lifetime deals, no, I was Blessed four times, my very best of all-time friends, I have 40+ years, 2 of them, and Angie Murray about 16-18 yrs. But, this belongs to Angela Murray. And, I did say 4; the first was my wife, Shannon. It should read 5, including my mother.

The Best of A Friend

In the light of day,

there’s where we shall find.

A friendship true, so old now,

has not a chance to blue.

She is my best friend of friends,

where I live now.

And of course,

I love her whole family, too.

My best friend I speak of,

her name is Angie.

She’s touched my life in so many ways.

And she’s like this anyway.

It doesn’t give me right,

not to acknowledge her.

She deserves more credit,

then is expressed here.

I thought I’d throw this together,

real quick for her,

to boost her morality.

I love you,

my best friend.

As you genuinely showed me,

dear friend, as you are.

The love once again,

in the family that they brought me in.

How can I forget?

That’s just it,

I could never forget.
